Eirik Bergesen

Eirik Bergesen is a political commentator, TV host, and former diplomat with extensive experience behind the scenes in politics and media.

Eirik has co-hosted «Norske Tilstander» and «Exit Trump» on TV 2 and is now back as the co-host of «Trumps Verden». He has also served as an expert commentator for the channel’s coverage of the last Norwegian and American elections.

Eirik has hosted major national and international events, and in 2020, Kapital ranked him among Norway's most popular conference hosts. Eirik is also currently co-hosting the podcast «Det store bildet» with Sofie Høgestøl.

Eirik is a former diplomat and has worked for ten years in the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

He hosted the political satire show «All Makt» on NRK P2 and has written for, among others, Harald Eia and Bård Tufte Johansen, Are Kalvø, Anne-Kat. Hærland, Otto Jespersen, as well as for «Lindmo» and «Nytt på Nytt». In 2020, he published the book «Fakta om makta».
