Euny Hong

Euny Hong er journalist og forfatter av to bøker, sist ute med den kritikerroste “The Birth of Korean Cool: How One Nation is Conquering the World Through Pop Culture”. The Telegraph UK beskriver boken som “fabulously snarky”. The New York Times beskriver den som “Incisive and humorous…an excellent case study of calculated entrepreneurial moxie.”

Hongs artikler har blant annet blitt publisert i The New York Times, The Financial Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal Europe, The International Herald Tribune, The New Republic, og The Boston Globe. Hun har hatt flere TV-opptredener på programmer som “Picture This” på BBC2, “Ronan Farrow Daily” på CNBC, og Bloomberg TV. Hun har holdt foredrag på SXSW 2015, Boston College, Harvard, Yale, The Korean Society, og vært hovedspeaker flere steder i USA.

Hun har tidligere jobbet for France 24 TV News Network i Paris, og startet sin journalistkarriere som TV-spaltist hos The Financial Times. Hun har sertifisering fra Wine and Spirits Education Trust. Hun har en BA i filosofi fra Yale University og er en tidligere Fulbright Scholar, og snakker flytende engelsk, fransk, tysk og koreansk.
