Richard most recently starred as Donny Dunn in the critically acclaimed Netflix adaptation of his Olivier award-winning stage play, BABY REINDEER. The series was based on the true story of his relationship with his real-life stalker, “Martha”, played by Jessica Gunning. Making its debut at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2019, the play then had a sold-out London debut at the Bush Theatre later that year with a transfer to the Ambassadors Theatre announced but subsequently postponed due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Consequently, BABY REINDEER spent a period on Netflix’s top 10 most watched shows of all time. The series was a significant awards contender, winning a total of 6 Emmy awards including ‘Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie’, ‘Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series’ and ‘Outstanding Writing for a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie’.
