Jeannette Platou is an experienced journalist and presenter who has covered a wide range of topics, including international news, technology, media, film, and pop culture.
She is currently the host of «Ekko» on NRK P2 and has previously led several programs for NRK, including «Brennpunkt», «Arena», «Safari» and «Sommeråpent». She has also helped set the agenda with the documentary series she developed, «Sløsesjokket» and «Matsjokket».
Platou has an international background, having grown up in England and the United States. She studied international politics at the London School of Economics and at L’Institut d’Études Politiques in France, and holds a master’s degree in journalism from Columbia University in New York. Before joining NRK, she worked as a film journalist in London, Stockholm, and New York for various media outlets, including France’s Canal+.
